Description
Sadly we’re rehoming our boy Arlo who is a husky/shepherd mini pit mix. He turns one on nov. 13th, due for vaccines but we had been doing them here at home from tractor supply. he’ll be due for his annuals (rabies) on his birthday. he’s intact, kennel trained but can have accidents depending how late you feed/water him though he isn’t housebroken. he will let you know when he has to go but i wouldn’t leave him inside unattended.
he is GREAT with other dogs, big or small and both genders. also good with cats and small animals like ferrets but does have a food aggression issue with other animals. we’ve been working with him and he can tolerate other dogs coming close by but will snap at a dog reaching for his bowl though does not exhibit this behavior with people.
he’s an INCREDIBLY sweet boy and exceedingly loyal. we hand raised him at 22 days old, we didn’t intend to keep him so long he was supposed to be a temporary foster. he can be an escape artist IF your yard is too small which has been our case also can be a digger if you have the same yard situation. he never wanders off but there is someone in our neighborhood who actively kills loose dogs.
we’re looking for a loving forever home for him, preferably a home with another dog for him to play with seeing as he comes from a household with 7 other dogs. we want to keep in long term contact so we know he’s okay.
(small rehoming fee just so we know he’s not being used for bait)
