Join us for Allison's talk and a three course dinner prepared by Chef Anthony Silvestri "Every creature matters, no matter how great or small. From elephants to horseshoe crabs, we need them all - and caring about other species helps us care more about our own." Allison will share her presentation followed by a 3-course dinner (vegetarian & vegan will be available!) all to benefit Wild Care! Allison Argo has won over 80 awards from around the world, including 6 national Emmys, a duPont Columbia award for journalism, and five Genesis awards from the Humane Society of the United States. For nearly 30 years, she has given voice to endangered and abused animals through her films. The many films she’s produced, directed and written, have all appeared on PBS and National Geographic, reaching audiences worldwide. Among them are: Chimpanzees: an Unnatural History, The Urban Elephant, and Parrot Confidential. Her most recent film, THE LAST PIG, continues her mission to inspire compassion for all living beings.
