On “Chasms of Color & Thought”, BRIAN! issued an angular to ambient adventure, oscillating between rock and avant-garde. Anchored by ambitious amplified bassoon and drums, augmented by melodic to chaotic multi-instrumentation, the trio’s fourth effort invites the ambitious listener on a journey the new, the old, and the unexplored.
