Prayer Breakfast for Heartbeat Law Hearing

A prayer breakfast, with coffee and donuts, in anticipation for the oral arguments in front of the Supreme Court. On December 1, the Supreme Court of the United States will being oral arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health, where the central questions of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Casey will be reexamined. We join in prayer for God's will to be done. St. Max has its daily Mass at 8:30AM, and we hope you join. The Archdiocese is inviting parish leaders to celebrate Mass, a holy hour, pray the rosary, or other liturgies on or around December 1st, and to encourage parishioners to regularly pray and fast in any number of ways in the coming months until the case is decided next summer. After Mass, we will be in the St. Max gym with coffee, donuts, and mingling. We will open with prayer, then a short review of the legal history and expectations for this case, closing with hearing about what the Kingdom can do to help women, babies, and families no matter what the result of the case and more prayer. If you can't come, please take some time the morning of December 1 to pray for our nation and our laws, as we work toward a more just society, especially for those yet to be born.
