We are a local residential/commercial construction company seeking a driver to assist with job site deliveries, clean up and logistical assistance. Driver should: - Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules at all times. - Responsible for the delivery of job site materials and products to other company employees and contractors as needed. - Accurately complete deliveries from vendors to job sites. Which could involve picking up pre-ordered materials or shopping for materials based on job site needs. - Inventory and inspect materials prior to departure from vendor location to ensure accuracy. - Be able to securely load truck which could include securing chains, straps, ropes. - Be able to lift up to 70 lbs. - Must be available to work Monday - Friday and every other Saturday. 7:30AM - 4:30PM. Occasional extended work hours may be required based on work load. - Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold. - Must be willing to learn new skills and assist where needed when no deliveries or material runs are required. - Must have great listening skills and verbal skills in order to identify truck needs and complete sales transactions. - Must have a valid class c driver's license. (normal license) - Must have the ability to drive and operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. - Must have no more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 years. - Driving record will be assessed before hired to ensure approval of additional to company vehicle insurance. - Advancement available as company is multi-faceted and growing.
