The Why Go To College Forum is an event for Middle School, High School, and Community College Students to plan to attend a four-year college The Why Go To College Forum (WGTC) is an opportunity for Middle School, High School, and Community College Students to receive everything they need to know to make the right decisions when planning to attend a four-year college.  Workshops will include: Finding a Campus to Nurture Your DreamsFinances: FAFSA, Scholarships, and Application Fee Waivers OverviewPreparing to be a Competitive ApplicantHelping Your Child Prepare for College Applications/Supporting Your Child's Strengths & DreamsStudent Panel: Shine Your Light on the WorldEmpty Nesting: Supporting Your Child in College/Parent PanelCareer Panel: Across All Sectors and Non-Traditional Career Pathsand more!The WGTC Forum will prepare attendees to attend college fairs and present themselves as viable, competitive first-time as well as transfer applicants.  The WGTC Forum will also give parents the tools they will need to support their college students. This Forum is FREE of charge but all attendees must register in advance
