Where are the homeless/ hungry people?

I cook chicken and rice on the weekends,and take around 20 hot meals outside at dinnertime to give them away. I ride the trains and go to union square.The problem is that I always come back with from 5 to 9 packs. I'm not sure where these people hang out. Can you please help with some info on that if you know? Thank you and God bless you.
