Join Shari Hanson, SHIP Counselor and Information & Assistance Coordinator at Elder Care Services, for a 30 minute one-on-one session the answer your questions regarding: Medicare (Prescription Drug Plans, Supplemental Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans)Medicaid Benefit Access (License Plate Sticker Program) SNAPLIHEAP (Energy Assistance and Weatherization) Other cost saving programs and to provide assistance with the application process. Either register via Eventbrite for an appointment with Shari at 1:00 or 1:30. Or Walk-in to the library between 2:00-3:00pm the day of. Walk-in availability not guaranteed. Appointments will be private sessions with Shari in Meeting Room 1 on the first floor of the library at the bottom of the staircase. Call with any questions to speak with an Adult Services Library Assistant at (815) 895-2500 ext. 410. Appointments are available to Seniors and their caregivers on the second Thursday of each month. Make sure to bring your questions and any documentation needed. Assistance is available to seniors within our library district and the broader community free of charge.
