Spend New Years Eve in Award Winning Downtown Greenville. This will be a night of live jazz, great food and great conversation. Jazzsmith and Company will be performing live at this New Year's Eve Party in Downtown Greenville. About the Band Jazzsmith is a solo act using a very sophisticated system of percussion and synth instruments and vocals performing classic soul, jazz, pop, and R&B hits from the 70s 80s and 90s. The emphasis on sound is crucial, as a recording mixing and front house engineer for many groups Jazzsmith understands acoustics and whatever the occasion the volume and selection of material will be appropriate. The main instruments used are percussion based vibes, steel pan, and vocals, all played on an instrument created by Gerald Smith, Pintech and Alternate Mode (makers of the Drumkat) About the Venue Blues Boulevard Jazz is new to the area and features some of the best local as well as nationally known jazz performers. The Jazz Club faces the Reedy River which has a beautiful walking path and bridge to enjoy a nice walk before dinner. The Evening's Plan Arrive at 7pm to enjoy a scrumptious meal that will be ordered before your arrival. You can make your drink selection once you're seated at your table. Each table holds a max of 4 people in case you want to purchase for a group. (Attendees will be emailed the meal options to choose from) The jazz performance will start at 8pm.
