Join the Northern Wake Senior Center for a fun run and walk on Saturday 12/11. This is a fundraiser for "Friends of the Senior Center." The Northern Wake Senior Center invites you to their fundraiser walk, The Jingle Bell Fun Run and Walk. We will start at the Center located at 235 E. Holding Dr. in Wake Forest, NC. The 2.2 mile walk will traverse the length of Franklin Street and back. Walk up registration is also available so tell your friends to join you on 12/11 at the Center for a worthy cause, the Senior Center. The Center invites new members age 55 and up. They hold classes in fitness and arts and crafts. Special events and speakers are frequent. The cost is $10 for those 6 and up. Younger can walk for free. Bring the whole family! It'll be fun! There will be raffle prizes with the drawing held just before we walk. The Grand Prize is a $150 Angus Barn Gift Card! Others are being included daily. Refreshments will be available after the walk.
