The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit  educational and service organization supporting women in Science, Technology,  Engineering, and Math professions.  The Chattanooga Area SWE section chartered  September 2007.Mission“To support women in  engineering and related fields within the Chattanooga area by providing career  development, networking events and outreach opportunities.”Vision“Aspire to make engineering a top educational choice for girls Advance women  engineers in the workplaceAchieve excellence as leaders within our fields”
