Ride to provide food for families in need at the second annual Santa Sleighs Hunger Ride This event is part food drive, part bike ride, with all profits benefitting Table— a non-profit organization that provides hunger relief for children in Orange County, NC. Down for the cause? Stop by Trek Bicycle Chapel Hill any time after 12pm on Sunday, December 12 to pick up your manifest with recommended food donations. Ride your bike to grab the grub and drop it off at the shop by 5:30pm. If you want to extend your adventure, you can stop at Triangle Bikeworks, TABLE, and Steel String Brewery to spread some holiday cheer and grab a free beer. Be sure to post some pics and tag #TrekBicycleTriangle to get extra credit towards awesome prizes. We’ll be giving out prizes for the most food gathered by teams and individuals, and a prize for whoever makes it back to the shop first after hitting every stop—so get your game face on, and get ready to ride!
