Join us to learn about essential oils and their practical modern applications for physical, emotional, and spiritual health while discovering what the Bible says about essential oils and their historical uses. Supplies for several make & take roller blends will be available for optional purchase. (Cash, Venmo, and PayPal will be accepted.) Plants and their extracts have been a mainstay of healing and spirituality for thousands of years. The Bible largely refers to essential oils as extracts, ointments, aromas, fragrances, perfumes, odors and sweet savors. During Biblical times, essential oils were used extensively in meditations, anointments, religious ceremonies, and burial preparations. Some were also used in ritual cleansing, cosmetics, and childbirth. At least 33 different essential oils or aromatic oil producing plants are mentioned in the Bible, and there are more than 600 references in scripture to these essential oils or aromatic producing plants. We'll tie Biblical study and historical understanding to modern ways we can harness the potent properties of essential oils to support our health and wellness!
