Position #1 - General Laborer Job Summary: •Performs jobsite clean-up •Performs manual digging and backfilling activities with shovels, rakes, come alongs, pick axe, and others •Assists technicians and apprentices with material handling, prefabrication, repairs, maintenance and installation tasks. •Assists apprentices with shop maintenance and clean up according to shop maintenance schedule Job Qualifications: •Has reliable transportation to and from work •Able to work Monday through Friday 7am - 330pm (plus overtime when needed) •Must be able to pass a background check •Must be able to pass a drug screening •Able to lift minimum of 80lbs •Able to work in hot / adverse weather conditions •Able to work as a team player Position #2 - Irrigation Technician Job Summary •knowledge of pump systems (submersible and surface) •Knowledge of basic electrical theory •Knowledge of timers, rain sensors, zone control valves, spray heads, pump stations, 2 wire systems, decoders, and programming of controls •Able to efficiently use a wire locator, electrical meter, and fault finder •Able to identify various water sources and their respective building code requirements •Knowledge of proper submersible pump installation •Knowledge of use of hand tools, power tools, and proper installation of hardware and fasteners •Knowledge of Irrigation system operation, theory and maintenance practices •Knowledge of landscape lighting systems •Knowledge of drainage Systems for landscape •Knowledge of various landscape watering requirements (plant/turf types) •Knowledge of municipal water restriction guidelines and codes •Able to complete irrigation installation unassisted and direct apprentices through process •Responsible for documenting in service software: time, materials, and photos per job •Responsible for maintaining Irrigation service truck, inventory, and tools •Able to operate trenchers and excavators •Able to prepare proposals based off field service diagnoses / wetchecks •Knowledge of layout for new/retrofit systems (head spacing and water source requirements/calculations) •Able to lift minimum of 80 lbs •Able to work in hot and adverse weather conditions •Performs manual digging and backfilling activities with shovels, rakes, come alongs, pick axe, and others. •Able to Identify Pipe sizes, Pipe types, fittings and irrigation parts by trade name Job Qualifications •High School diploma or equivalent •Vocational training or certification. If candidates do not have certification, must certify (irrigation technician, product technician, and lighting technician) within 60 days of hire •Valid driver's license with clean driving record •Has strong organizational skills •Able to work as a team player •Has strong customer service skills •Able to navigate a tablet for service software and service applications •Able to report to work from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (plus over-time if needed) •Minimum of 4 years of Irrigation Experience •Need to have your own hand tools for general irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage and well pump work (electrical meter is a must) •Must be able to pass background check •Must be able to pass drug screening •Able to lift minimum of 80lbs •Able to work in hot / adverse weather conditions •Speaks both English and Spanish (preferred)
