The Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation (CASF), a 501(c)(3) , in conjunction with the Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation (CASF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in conjunction with the Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. are requesting your support for the 71st Annual Debutante Scholarship Ball. This formal event will take place on December 18, 2021in the State House Convention Center - Governor Hall I & II beginning at 6:00 p.m. The program will highlight the social debut of talented African-American young ladies who have demonstrated community service, academic excellence, participated in various workshops related to social awareness and engagement, and plan to pursue their college degree. Through the proceeds of the Debutante Ball, the CASF is able to offer scholarship awards totaling approximately $11,000 annually to the debutantes. Your support with this event allows the CASF to engage in various service projects as well as make donations to other community and charitable organizations including March of Dimes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Martin Luther King Memorial Foundation to name a few. These efforts align with CASF’s purpose of providing educational scholarships; improve community development, education, and literacy; create meaningful activities and educational opportunities for inner city children and at risk youth. This is a formal event so tuxedos are required for men and formal gowns for women in order to enter!!! COVID-19 Warning We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you and our guests..
