WAKEFIELD, MA — The town will dedicate the Main Street Dog Park to the late Councilor Peter May, who was a key proponent of the park's creation. Residents are invited to the dog park on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. for the dedication. The rain date is Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. May died last month after a battle with ALS. He was 62. One of his crowning achievements was the dog park's creation in 2016. The park is located at the corner of Main Street and Railroad Avenue.
