USC Sumter Baseball Prospect Camp The USC Sumter Prospect Camp is designed to provide high school players (9-12 Grade) with the opportunity to be evaluated and instructed by college coaches. It also presents players with a firsthand look at instruction, methods, and philosophies used in our programs daily. All coaches will utilize this opportunity to interact with prospects on a personal level while ultimately searching to find players that will be the right fit at their respective schools. Position Players will run through a pro style workout in order to showcase the five physical tools of baseball: speed, defense, arm strength, hit, hit for power. Pitchers will throw bullpens in order to showcase their arsenal of pitches and prove they have what it takes to pitch at the next level. Position Players Only and Two Way Players: Check in 9:00-9:30 AM Pitchers Only: Check in 12:15-12:45 PM
