Press release from the North Reading Police Department: jgprrobert November 10, 2021 Police Chief Michael Murphy and Fire Chief Don Stats report that the North Reading Police Department is investigating crash in which a pedestrian suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a vehicle. North Reading Police and North Reading Fire were called to the area of 38 Main St. by multiple 911 calls received about 5:10 p.m., reporting a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle.  Crews arrived to find a 30-year-old male pedestrian suffering from injuries that are serious but not believed to be life-threatening. That male was transported to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center by the North Reading Fire Department.  The operator of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene.
