Press release from the Essex County Sheriff's Department: November 10, 2021 - 4:15pm Due to a recent uptick in positive COVID-19 cases, we have temporarily suspended video visits with friends and family to mitigate movement within our facility. Public visitation also remains suspended. In-person visits for attorneys will continue. Each inmate has access to a tablet which allows for telephone calls.
