Florida Concealed Carry Course This class is NOT for someone who has never held or shot a gun before. The Basic Florida concealed carry class covers Florida law and proper handgun grip and manipulation. This is not a personal defense class or a marksmanship class. If you are new to guns, please go to www.halloffamestep.org and look for a First Time shooter class or other introductory training opportunities. This class will teach you about Florida carry laws and the use of deadly force. You will fire a handgun to demonstrate proficiency to the instructor and, in so doing, you will receive the certificate necessary to apply for your Florida Concealed Carry License.
