Seattle, Vancouver, San Jose, Toronto, Ludhiana GADVASU- Vice Chancellor Dr. Inderjeet Singh, who recently took charge of Office of Vice-Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana , has been asked by NRI Parents, where Non Resident Indian- NRI, students from San Jose, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, are enrolled in the 4 year Vet Program, to hold a virtual meeting, with concerns of security and Academic Semester, including Staffing. There have been numerous incidents where NRI students had to retreat, due to challenges and one sided decisions of the DSW/CDC, of harassment and treating NRI students and their parents as "Cash Cows". The Campus was closed for about 1 year, during which the designated Security Officer Prof. Simrinder Sodhi, who has no background in Security or Administration, ran the Campus Student Hostels, at his discretion. PAU/GADVASU campus banned the 4 wheel vehicles in 2019, due to the same issues concerning "Drugs and Gangs", incidents, disturbing the Academic courses, in the Campus. He violates all regulations of the PAU/GADVASU campus in regards to Vehicle laws and security laws. "Dr Minhas, old graduate of GADVASU, regrets the current situation of Administration and Staff, "its a catch 22", for NRI's, as we get trapped by the corrupt staff, it was not like this during our times". Newly formed GADVASU NRI-Parents Association, USA and Canada, have requested VC Dr. Inderjeet Singh to fix the discrimination and biased agenda of Few Staff members, whose business is not in Academics, but illegal means, by treating NRI-Students as "Cash Cows". There have been many legal Actions against against Teaching Staff, which has been covered under the rug by "Threats and Harassment" , said a former Dean of GADVASU, who did not want to put his name forward, due to backlash from the corrupt staff. "Instead of modern " Model Gaushala" they should respect and impart good modern education and fair treatment to NRI-Students", said Dr. Gill. They have failed to keep the ethics of Education. Dr S.P.S Ghuman, Dean, College of Veterinary Science said that they lack coordination between DSW and NRI Students, due to which issues go out of hand, since there has been no "Meeting", held Post Covid-reopening of the Campus. NRIP-USA, Canada are seeking legal opinion to file a class Action suit against GADVASU, if these problems are not solved and will initiate a campaign in USA, Canada, highlighting the issues to parents, not to send their Children to GADVASU in 2022-Semester. A delegation also plans to meet Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa , Minister of Animal Husbandry in these matter, including NRI Minister Pargat Singh said NRI-Parents. There are a total of 45 NRI Students currently enrolled in GADVASU, who pay appox. $ 98,000 for the full 4 year Program. "We also urge Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Navjot Sidhu to review the functioning of the  Security Department of PAU and its actions for the last 3 years and suspend the officials, conniving with the drug and crime in Ludhiana".
