Description
BEVERLY, MA —Healthy Beverly is hosting a documentary showing and discussion on anxiety designed to help residents be better equipped to healthily cope with anxiety and help struggling friends and family.
The program will be held virtually on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. that includes the showing of "Angst" — a 56-minute documentary aimed to raise awareness around anxiety, followed by a discussion led by Jon Mattleman from Minding Your Mind.
"Angst is a very insightful and powerful documentary created to address anxiety," Be Healthy Beverly said in a statement to Patch. "It educates viewers on the commonness and treatability of the illness, and also provides them with healthy coping mechanisms and resources to use.
"This film is a great way to address some of the concerns our community has expressed about mental health, while also giving them a chance to anonymously ask questions and come together."
The free program is appropriate for residents 10 years old and older.
