UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police are investigating the murder of a man who was found in Uniondale Wednesday night. According to police, officers were called to the intersection of Alexander Avenue and Lee Road at 8:50 p.m. for a report of a man lying in the road. The man had been shot, and was pronounced dead by a police medic. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
