The Voodoo Cabaret is a World Music band formed in San Francisco inspired by the Orishas/Loas of Santeria/Vodou. The sound is Santana meets West Africa with a jazzy touch. When you come to a Voodoo Cabaret show, get ready for a tantalizing show! Barakemi is Afro-Brazilian-Axé-Dance-Music. We represent unity, compassion and a love for life. Barakemi's music is based in Afro Brazilian traditions and blended with today's popular styles from Bahia, Brazil and the California Bay Area. We're all about unity, peace and strength and are constantly searching for the beauty in the world and wanting to share it. We are blessed!
