Here are the top stories in Denver today: Former 9NEWS anchor Kristen Aguirre is suing the Denver station after it let her go following a stroke, The Denver Post reports. Aguirre said she faced racial and disability discrimination at the station, but 9NEWS said its team supported her in her recovery. (Paywall - The Denver Post)Cherry Creek North is being decked in half a million lights for the return of the second annual Winter Wanderland, which is set to open Nov. 18.
