February Math Literacy Symposium
Ahead of the Class’s Math Literacy Symposium empowers teachers to apply the reading, writing, listening and speaking constructs that create mathematically literate students. Through these constructs, students learn to become self-directed as they process the dense text of mathematics, learn to communicate mathematics fluently, and utilize flexible problem-solving strategies.
Featured presenter A. Tremain Nelson and his team of math educators will share resources and model lesson activities specifically designed to increase engagement, self-direction, and literacy in mathematics.
Parking validation and lunch will be provided.
