Press release from the City of Columbia Police Department: November 10, 2021 The City of Columbia will be sponsoring the 43rd Annual Veteran's Day Parade on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Street closures will begin at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow. The 1200 to 2000 blocks of Sumter Street will be temporarily closed from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Roads will remain closed for the duration of the parade and will re-open once the breakdown of the reviewing stands and clean-up has been completed.
