ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police arrested three people on DUI charges in the last week. Here is information from the reports:
James G. Brucker, 22, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday near Thomas and Villa on charges of aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license, speeding and expired registration. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Laquienta Davis, 45, of Urbandale, Iowa, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of York Street on charges of DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, transportation of open alcohol, driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. According to a police report, an officer found Davis sleeping in her car. She was released on bond. Jahan Zab Arain, 31, of Westmont, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Emroy on charges of DUI-drugs, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage and damage to city property. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Arain's car struck a tree along the street. He was taken to the hospital, then to the police station.
