Rhode Island Caribbean American diaspora community celebrate June as National Caribbean American Heritage Month and Raise Funds for COVID-19 Caribbean Americans have contributed to the development of the United States in extraordinary ways. Millions of people in the United States are connected to our Caribbean neighbors. Since 2006, June has been designated as National Caribbean American Heritage Month by Presidential Proclamation. Due to COVID-19, we celebrate the month of June, join us at the annual Caribbean American Heritage Festival showcasing our music, food, culture, achievement, heritage and more as Caribbean American diaspora community of Rhode Island.
