HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-car crash Wednesday night, police said. Paula Lester, 65, struck a light post at 9:47 p.m. at Skippers Cottages on E. Montauk Highway, police said. She was stopped shortly after, arrested, and charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said. She was held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
