A small but growing garden and landscape company is looking to fill two assistant positions for fall, winter and into the spring months. We are looking for part-time term members who can commit from 15-25 hours per week with a range of projects throughout the metropolitan area. We are laid back and easy going, but also have high standards of professionalism and commitment to our work and our clients. We are seeking energetic people who enjoy being outside, interacting with people, learning and thinking outside of the box, and most importantly, those who have an outstanding work ethic. Last but not least, all team members must have their own vehicles. All team members work independently and as part of a team with the highest level of professionalism and integrity. No experience necessary however those with landscape, garden and outdoor experience are of course welcome. This role’s primary responsibility is to provide assistance in tending the garden, landscape or particular project. These responsibilities are wide-ranging, but include general garden work such as weeding, watering, planting, harvesting, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing etc.. The ideal team members will be genuinely interested in plants, gardens and landscapes, be a self-starter who has the drive and initiative to work through tasks on their own, along with enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn. He/she will have good communication skills and be able to take instruction and direction while becoming a valued, trusted part of the team.
