ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — As the wind blows, leaves cover the ground. To help clear the foliage, the village of Rockville Centre is holding its autumn clean-up. Beginning on Mon., Nov. 15 and lasting until Fri., Dec. 10, bagged leaves will be picked up at the curb. The village has designated locations and dates for collection. On Mondays: North of Sunrise Highway (between Hempstead Avenue and North Long Beach Road)Tuesdays: North of Sunrise Highway (East of Long Beach Road) Thursdays: North of Sunrise Highway (West of Hempstead Avenue) Fridays: South of Sunrise HighwayAll leaves should be placed in clear, plastic bags, the village wrote on its website.
