HOOVER, AL — The City of Hoover will hold a public meeting to present the findings of the Green Valley and Bluff Park Drainage Studies completed by Schoel Engineering. The meeting will take place Nov. 18. The studies were concluded prior to the flooding event that occurred on Oct 6, which resulted two deaths and millions of dollars in property damage. The city has since approved resolutions to move forward with repairs and assessing the flooding issues in Hoover, including the hiring of five independent engineering firms to help the city assess the issues. The meeting takes place at 6 p.m. at Hoover City Hall.
