Yacht Club seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping with strong people skills! We are looking for a great team player with amazing work ethics, strong attention to detail, works independently, positive attitude, and reliable and responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas inside and outside the Facility. Responsibilities • Keep grounds clean, including but not limited to, the clubhouse, sailing center, locker building, fitness center, pavilion, fish station, pool & maintenance building in accordance with SDYC standards. • Asset care & cleaning including but not limited to BBQ’s, trophy cases, windows, carpets, floors, cabinets, walls, edges, ledges, tables, chairs, ceilings, vents, light fixtures, art, pictures, trophies, toilets, door handles, sinks, urinals & offices. • Hourly restroom checks. • Raise officers’ flags when requested. • Powers wash all building mats, tennis court, loading dock & cement common areas. • Set up/break down tables, chairs, stages, dance floors & pop-up tents. • Clean & polish all wooden floors. • Clean & polish all brass railings, handles & fittings. • Refill all restroom supplies as needed including but not limited to paper towels, toilet paper, soap, Kleenex & deodorizers. • Dust all shelves, trophy, trophy cases, awards, pictures, ledged, edges, tables, chairs every day. • Remove all trash for buildings, docks & offices. • Drive electric cart. • Always have a friendly and professional tone and action. • Support emergency response processes as needed by the building manager. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • 1-2 housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred. • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day. Ability to lift push pull up to 50lbs • Must be able to follow verbal directions, and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
