Grand Avenue Produce Co., a family owned company that has been in business for over 75 years, is now hiring - General Warehouse team members We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize safety, speed, and accuracy above all else, so we require a Warehouse Worker who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Responsibilities: • Quality Control • Pack produce into proper pack sizes • Recondition produce so that only the top quality reaches our customers • Assure that weights are correct • Load and unload product onto assembly line • Ensure the process flows from packing to stocking Qualifications: • Food handlers’ card • Flexible schedule • Bilingual is a plus • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs • Must be dependable Pay & Benefits: • Pay starting at $15.00 per hour. • Medical, vision and dental insurance will be available and offered in compliance with ACA regulations. Schedule: The schedule will vary depending on workload. Most weeks will have a 6-day schedule, some will have 5-day schedule. You will have Sundays off.
