Housekeeper Responsibilities and Duties: Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned Cross train to back up Laundry Department when needed Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills: Must be of good character Have a strong work ethic Minimum 8th grade level of education Must be punctual and dependable Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Experience working in a Nursing Facility or hospital a plus Attention to detail Willingness to "go the extra mile" to provide exceptional customer service Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such a weight a minimum distance of 50 feet Benefits: We offer a competitive rate based on experience, medical, dental and vision insurance and paid time off.
