42" Samsung tv needs on/off switch. From the video on how to do it seems quite simple if you happen to be mechanically inclined which I'm not. The sound quality is fantastic and so is the picture quality. If you know how to do such things you can fix it and sell it or keep it. And I don't have the remote, I just used the Comcast remote.
