Power drummer seeking a new musical home

I have been drumming for 46 of my 56 years, toured all around the US, Canada, and Europe. Settled in Vancouver 26 years ago. I’ve played in several original, cover, and tribute bands in my time here. I have a deep passion for performing, but obviously live music is not thriving at the moment. I’m extremely picky about material, and whom I’m playing it with, as I’d expect others to have high standards as well. I feel at times like I know all the serious musicians around, yet I occasionally get surprised. I consider my approach as Tommy Aldridge meets Cozy Powell with some modern technical skills added. At this point in time, I’m not sure what’s going on around Portland, yet I’m throwing my contact around to see if I can connect with a quality band whether it’s original, or tribute (sorry, I won’t wear a wig). I’m looking for a no BS situation. I am an alpha drummer, so if you want Charlie Watts, it’s not gonna happen ;)
