All-Star Labor and Staffing is hiring for Janitorial/ Custodial positions in the Albany & Lebanon area. These positions are to clean and sanitize building areas following established polices and procedures to maintain the environment in an orderly and sanitary condition. The essential job functions: *Performs routine cleanings of patient rooms, non-patient rooms, waiting areas, entrance ways and stairways. a. Uses cleaning solutions per manufacturer's instructions. b. Cleans and stocks paper towel, toilet tissue, soap and seat cover dispensers. c. Follows daily Task & Frequency schedule. d. Practices Standard Precautions. e. Move’s furnishings to clean underneath and behind. 1. *Assures trash and linens are handled properly. Removes soiled linen from linen hampers when full and relines with new liner. a. Exchanges clean linen carts and/or deliver and stock linens in various departments thorough out the facility. b. Removes sharps containers when 2/3 full and replaces with new container. c. Removes trash from assigned area. d. Distributes linen and scrubs. e. Assures hazardous waste, confidential material, trash, recycling and linens are handled properly, if applicable. f. Collects all recyclable material and confidential material. 2. *Performs Terminal and Turnover room cleaning as needed. 3. *Strips, washes, and makes patient discharge, sleep room beds and stretchers. 4. *Carries pager and responds to service requests, i.e., spill clean ups. 5. *Performs safety check before using equipment, reports repair needs to Supervisor, Lead, or Manager. 6. *Performs Periodical cleaning in assigned area. High/Low dusting/Wall washing in Public Areas of assigned area. a. Wash windows, blinds and changes cubicle curtains/drapes. 7. *Maintains hard surface and carpeted floors. Uses commercial equipment. 8.
