Bought a car for $2,200 that “needed a little work”. Took it to repair shop and found it needed $3,000 in repairs. Couldn’t do it for that car. Straight to junkyard, recouping $250. This was my friend and his wife, both disabled. Texted previous owner requesting “some reimbursement”. No reply. Not looking for a freebie. Just looking for an honest person selling a reliable car in the $2-3,000 range. Can’t take another hit like that (couldn’t afford to take this one either). Please no junk, no higher price. Thank you.
