small dog needs forever home

Description

I have a very sweet little girl that I adopted from the shelter 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, our home just is not going to work out for her. I have another dog that I have had for years that just is not getting used to her. In fact, he is growing more resentment toward her with each passing day. Little Darla is a chihuahua/Dachshund mix. She weighs 7 pounds and is approximately 8 years old. Darla is red in color and has an extremely amusing low, quiet bark; even though she really is putting all of her 'umph' into it. You just would not expect this from a small dog. It really is quite funny. She is spayed and appears to be very healthy. Stools are solid, appetite is good and does not appear to be food particular. She has been fully vaccinated and micro chipped. You would need to make sure you register for her chip. She seems to be mostly house broken, but may have had puppy pad training as well. I paid $225 for her, so I would like to recover some of the cost, maybe $150. She will come with all of the paperwork I have from the shelter and vet and micro chip information. All I ask is that you return her to me if she does not work out with you. I took responsibility for this sweet girl and I have a knot in my stomach about re-homing her. I have never re-homed a pet in my life. If interested please call me at the phone number listed in the contact area. Do not text, as this is a landline number, and please do not email. Thank you, Cindy
