Looking for an Embroidery Machine Operator. The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating up to 10 head embroidery machines to accurately embroider logos and appliqués on garments and headwear. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Prepare machine by placing spools of thread, inserting bobbins, changing and threading needles; securing attachments • Start and operate or tend machine • Adjust machine performance by adjusting settings, thread and bobbin tensions • Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as machine malfunctions, defective stitching, or breaks in thread • Maintain quality by inspecting finished product • Ensure operation of machine by completing preventive maintenance requirements • Additional as assigned Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Manufacturing experience. • Previous Embroidery Machine & Heat Pressing experience preferred but not required Skills/Qualifications • Ability to follow verbal directions, read instructions in English, solve problems, work in a fast-paced team environment, and perform quality control • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time • Repetitive use of hands, fingers and arms; fine dexterity skills a must
