Description

Looking for a pet bird to adopt? Thought about why a ringneck dove might be a great choice, especially for new birders? Here are some facts: They can live up to 25 years with simple daily care. They are gentle and fun. They are tame, train well, and bond easily with people. They also 'laugh' when they get excited. They love toys and take baths. They eat a seed and pellet diets, plus fresh veggies. You will just need to invest necessary time to bond with and to train your new dove. I intentionally do not over handle adoptable birds for ease in transition to their new home. I provide starter diet samples, "how to care" sheet (upon request), and "dummy" eggs (when necessary and upon request and availability). When available, I include the egg your new pet hatched from. CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR RE-HOMING/ADOPTION. INQUIRE ABOUT ADOPTION FEE: 2 young doves. About 3 weeks old. Mom is albino, dad is tan with black ring. Should be ready to adopt first week of December. They can be adopted together as siblings. *Sex not guaranteed until bird has been properly sexed by a veterinarian. This service is not provided and will be your responsibility after adoption, if you pursue having it done. I DON'T SHIP, so please be in Denver/burbs only! THESE ARE PETS. They are NOT trained for ceremonial release under any circumstance! MUST HAVE ADEQUATE CAGE (at least 24W, 24D, 36H). Doves don't climb cage sides so they need width and height for proper exercise. I can send pics of ideal cages along with pics of the packaging from their diet.
