We have a position open within our small NE Portland clothing manufacturing factory. The position is Fabric Cutter, which involves tracing around patterns onto wool material and then carefully cutting these shapes out using a rotary cutter.
Attention to detail and safety are the top job priorities. We will train for the specific tasks, operation, and safety procedures involved. No prior experience is required.
A mesh metal safety glove must be worn on one had at all times when using the cutter. Any persons who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must wear a mask at all times while working on the property.
You must be able to lift 40 lbs. and work on your feet most of the day. A long reach is helpful.
Full-time or Part-Time hours are available, Monday thru Friday. We can staff two part-timers or one full-timer for this position. We open as early as 7am, and close at 4pm to fit your schedule.
