At Habitat for Humanity we believe everyone deserves a decent place to live. As a member of our Palm Desert ReStore crew your efforts will help us provide the funding required to carry on our mission of building and refurbishing homes for low-income families. We currently have openings available for full-time and part-time Store Associates. Duties may include sorting and stocking donated furniture, housewares, clothing, hardware, and do-it-yourself building materials as well as cashiering, assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks, and helping keep the store clean, tidy and sanitary. If you have related experience, that's great, but not required. Those with little or no experience are welcome to apply. We'll show you everything you need to know to be a successful crew member. Basic abilities and requirements include: reading and writing English (bi-lingual Spanish is helpful), working Saturdays (we're closed Sundays), lifting up to 50 pounds, lots of walking, pleasant demeanor with customers and donors, and following safety guidelines.
