Job Opportunity: Warehouse Associate with Allied Supply in Cincinnati, Ohio Do you have inventory experience? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. As the Warehouse Associate with Allied Supply, you will accurately and safely receive and store materials, as well as pull and pack orders for pickup and delivery. You will have a focus on increasing operational efficiencies and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities include: Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time. Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order. Process returns accurately. Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits. Receive inventory and place in proper warehouse location. Report any quality or inventory discrepancies. Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, associates, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.   Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently. Light maintenance/cleaning. Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, two wheelers and other warehouse equipment as required. Maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report issues to supervisor. Backup delivery driver. We are seeking an energetic team player with exceptional customer service skills that can work independently and be adaptable to changing schedules and demands. Other requirements include: Prior warehouse/inventory experience. Basic computer/keyboarding skills. Ability to perform simple math operations. Ability to operate forklifts in compliance with OSHA requirements. Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures. Problem-solving and analytical ability. Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 100 lbs) and ability to stand/walk for duration of work hours, in varying weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.
