If you know a feral cat who has had kittens near you, please don't wait until the kittens are too old to -try- and catch them. "Kittens under two months old usually can be socialized very quickly using food as an incentive to befriend humans because they have not yet developed the strong “fight or flight” instinct of older kittens. Feral or otherwise unsocialized kittens are most easily tamed for adoption and indoor life between the ages of four and eight weeks, their natural weaning period." HANDLE THE KITTENS AS YOUNG AS POSSIBLE - THE MOTHER WILL NOT ABANDON THEM! If you are unable to take care of the kittens, please call a rescue or shelter.
