Everyone has someone in their lives who have suffered from cancer.  With all of the advancements in diagnosis, research and treatments, we still do not have a cure.  The American Cancer Society works tirelessly to fund research into treatments and a cure for all types of cancers, and 100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards funds to research treatments and a cure. Cancer patients and our families fight every day - for hope, for healing, for a cure.  Join our Fight Club for a Cure!  This is NOT a boxing event - the fight is against cancer!   MANY THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS:  Platform Digital; Marcus Center, Ott Realty Group. In 2011, two months after my 40th birthday and 9 months after the birth of my beautiful son, Ethan, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Breast Cancer.  I was shocked - of course - and later learned that I had about a 1% chance of getting breast cancer.  I was terrified of leaving my new baby and loving husband, family and friends.  Through aggressive treatment and the support of many, I made it through multiple surgeries, 12 weeks of chemotherapy and 7 1/2 weeks of radiation to be in remission.  2019 marks my 8 year "Cancerversary" -  a celebration of survivorship.  Our goal is to continue to raise funds for every cancer survivor to help reach theirs, and eradicate this disease once and for all.
