Looking for a candidate that is comfortable with a fast-paced environment, great customer experience and willing to get the job. Candidate must have previous experience supervising others and managing a moving company.
Job Responsibilities:
• Planning, scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring quality assurance throughout the move process
• Able to communicate effectively with crew and customers
• Manage day to day activities of a moving company
• Hiring and retaining the right crew members
• Manage and train movers and drivers
• “On-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours
• Ensure that customers’ experience and expectations are met
• Respectfully deal with crew and customers regarding any problems that may arise before, during and after the move
• Uphold and promote safety procedures and policies
• Ensure compliance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rules as required from time to time
Job Requirements:
• Experience managing a company
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s license, with a good driving record
• Highly organized and detailed
• Ability to lift 50lb or more
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Good customer service
• Basic use of Microsoft (word, excel, etc.)
• Good team leader
• Highly motivated and able to motivate others
