Four landmark LoDo locations come together to bring you a family-friendly philanthropic initiative to give back to the Denver community. LoDo Gives Back, starting at 11am, Sunday, December 5! Join Market Station, Denver Union Station, Dairy Block, and McGregor Square for a joyful community celebration designed to bring families and individuals together to collectively give to those in need this holiday season. Each destination hosts family-friendly holiday activities including Santa, live music, cocktails, free hot chocolate, games and more, while inviting the public to help support four fantastic Colorado non-profits. Funds go toward access to the outdoors for underrepresented youths from communities that lack access to nature. Activities: Get a professional portrait taken in the vintage ski-themed photo booth with your donation of $15 or more Enjoy live music by modern jazz & soul singer Dzirae Gold Free hot chocolate and coffee from Goodhart CoffeeFree hot chai from Milk Tea PeopleThe famous Radical Sasquatch Dumpling Food TruckGames on the paseo DENVER UNION STATION Nonprofit Partner: Supporting Children’s Hospital Colorado and their mission to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research, and advocacy. Activities: Free family photos with Santa from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.Milkbox Ice Creamery, Terminal Bar, Pigtrain Coffee Co., Next Door Eatery, Tattered Cover, 5 Green Boxes, and ACME Delicatessen, are donating 5% of all sales made between 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. to Children’s ColoradoThe Crawford Hotel will donate 5% of net room revenue for stays on December 5th to Children’s ColoradoMiracle at Union Station will collect a $2-per-reservation fee for the duration it will be open (November 24 through December 29) and 100% of those proceeds will be donated to Children’s ColoradoGuests are invited to make additional contributions to Children’s Colorado at various donation stations throughout Union Station, as well as bring in new gift cards to retailers and/or grocery stores that will benefit the heroic caretakers of Children’s Colorado and their familiesDAIRY BLOCK Nonprofit Partner: Supporting WeeCycle, which matches essential baby gear to families through partner organizations, Dairy Block is collecting donations of baby lotion, formula, food, nail clippers and thermometers. Activities: Bring a donation to receive a free holiday cocktail! Après Ski Holiday Market featuring 30+ vendors along Blake Street Live acoustic music Multiple holiday bars in the activated Alley McGREGOR SQUARE Nonprofit Partner: Raising funds for the DPS Foundation, attendees are asked to bring books or cash donations for the DPS Foundation—the strategic fundraising partner for Denver Public Schools.
